What a wonderful stay! Great place, the common area is well-equipped, and the private onsen (three in total) is absolutely the best after a day of hiking. Yunomine Onsen is a lovely little village. Highly recommend!

The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the Gion district and within walking distance of some of Kyoto’s most beautiful spots. There’s also a bus stop just steps away, making it incredibly convenient to get around the city. The hotel itself feels very new, and our room was super spacious for Japanese standards. Everything was spotless, which is always my top priority. We arrived about an hour and a half before check-in, and the staff kindly let us know our room was already ready. They allowed us to check in early at no extra charge, which made a huge difference for us. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely return! :)
