My daughter accidentally left her jacket somewhere and Koji San collected it for us without hesitation. Overall, I'd happily come here again.

It was even better than i expected. Toshi and Haru were absolutely lovely and helped with anything you needed. The place itself is beautiful and really felt like a home. It is close to shuttles to both the ski fields and the nightlife. I would not stay anywhere else if i returned. It was an authentic, relaxing Japanese stay.

Taka is amazing and such a cool guy, he arranged alt accommodation for us when his place was booked and dropped us off, shuttled our luggage back and forth, boiled eggs for me, had nice yarns with him. His partner and daughter are also amazing so friendly and welcoming! They invited us to a tea ceremony to celebrate the spring coming which was an awesome experience and added bonus to the snowboarding for which we came! Highly, highly recommended if you're coming to Hakuba!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Pension Tomato. It exceeded our expectations and was a wonderful place to stay for our first visit to Hakuba. Close to the Main Street of Echoland with everything you need. The private onsen after skiing each day was fantastic.

Hakuba Skala Inn has both Western rooms and Japanese rooms, which have traditional futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor. All rooms are heated. Location was great, beside a bus pickup spot and also next to another hotel with a public onsen. Room was clean with plenty of room. Breakfast was humble and delicious. Osamu-san was friendly and nice enough to pick us up for arrivals.
