It was a great experience, with a huge vibe. Staying on a previous school. Kitchen with everything you can imagine. With good coffee/chocolate/tea available. Staff was amazing and made a great sugestion for dinner.

Effective October 1, 2025, a lodging tax will be introduced by ordinance of Takayama City. In addition to the room charge, 100 yen per person per day will be charged. It was very nicely decorated and spacious also the staff was very nice.

We were also lucky enough to be picked up from the station - things that made our journey infinitely easier! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay and we would stay again in a heartbeat ✨

He drove us to Magome so that we managed to complete the Nakasendo trail just in time before the last bus departed. He also made a dinner reservation for us and drove us to an Onigiri restaurant for breakfast. We had a great stay!

The owner is super nice kind and lovely!! We came wet from the rain and he helped me dry my shoes with special dryer, he gave us to use bikes (with electric assistant) for free, there is a parking space close to the guesthouse but the owner also provide shuttle to center Takayama - so also it is far from the center (about 30 min walk), with the bikes and the shuttle it didn't feel this way. The kitchen was equipped, and the owner gave us bottles of water and didn't let us pay! He is a very sweet guy and we had a really good experience in this guesthouse that was also very very clean and affordable!!
