A big supermarket is also around the corner. We can definitely recommend going to Nametoko gorge. You can do this with e-bikes.

Nicely modernised old house with charm,not too many room so it was a nice atmosphere amongst the guests. Our room was very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped and there was a free washing machine and dryer.Staff speak little English but are very well prepared (written explanation cards) and super friendly! Introduced the area well, including the great day public bath and local restaurants. The house was super well updated and maintained. The weather and temperature was great when I was there and I could sleep very well after biking around the island. It was very close to the local beach and shrine. The kitchen had everything needed.

Very clean and nice rooms, a laundry and a dryer is available as well.

It’s a unique traditional Japanese house — spacious, cozy, and full of character. But what truly makes this place special are the hosts. I feel so lucky to have met them; it felt like visiting family rather than just staying somewhere. They showed us a local onsen, and on our second night, they prepared a wonderful dinner with homemade udon. We also got to try real matcha, which was such a lovely touch. This stay became one of the most memorable moments of our entire trip. I truly hope to visit this beautiful home again in the future.
