I slept in this guesthouse for four nights, during the Merano Wine Festival. The guesthouse has four spacious rooms, very nicely decorated and comfortable. The location is at 10 minute leisurely walk from the place where the wine festival is hosted. There is a covered parking 300 meters away. Jacqueline was a very attentive and kind host.

The property kindly informs that breakfast cannot be offered from from 12.01 to 12.03.2026. The hot tub is open from April to January 6th.

An ideal location in the heart of Merano, close to everything. The rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished. The breakfast was superb, and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Highly recommended!

Amazing view from the small hotel radiating family type of atmosphere, the hosts were very kind and helpful. The room was comfortable a clean. The accommodation is close to Merano.

Amazing views of the surrounding mountains and a lovely cozy atmosphere in the old converted castle. The grounds around it are also amazing, the family have done such a nice job with it all. Christine and Daniel went above and beyond to help when I fell ill during our stay, supporting my girlfriend with difficulties in extending our stay and with me being unable to move all of our things. Just a lovely, friendly pension in one of the loveliest towns in Alto Adige. We were staying in Bolzano and going to a concert in nearby Lana (one of many for the season) that finished too late to catch the train back - so we stayed at Hilpold. It was a great decision. We had a superb room with a wonderful view, the breakfast was excellent and the proprietress was so friendly and accomodating. We'll definitely be back!
