Superb communication from the time of booking till arrival, the rooms are modern, very clean and thoughtful. Its 10 mins walk from the station, an easy 10’mins train to Varenna every hour. A beach and nice hikes around. The village is less touristy and shops are cheaper than the neighbouring towns. Certainly a great place to explore the area.

Impressively ample plug points to charge phones, plug own hairdryer. lovely mirrors well situated. ample tea and coffee making, with coffee nespresso machine. Very well located, but not noisy, walk to everywhere, including restaurants on square and the quayside.

The Vitrum provides a variety of different themed rooms. Our room was overlooking the Como Duamo. Such a perfect location, being able to soak in the atmosphere on the balcony. The bathroom along with the shower was amazing. Would highly recommend this beautiful and modern hotel.
