The ideal location for photographing the aurora! Mirror like water in foreground, mountains in background, and clear 180 degree view of the sky. Got amazing photos right from their backyard. We will be back. Highly recommended.

Not only did they kindly help me inflate it, but also recommended a nearby repair shop, saving me from what could have been a serious problem. The special thing about this place, which in my opinion was the best option for traveling in Iceland, was that the rooms were like hotel rooms with private bathrooms. At the same time, they had a fully equipped kitchen, which you typically don't get in a hotel but is essential when traveling in Iceland to cook meals and store groceries in the fridge. They also gave excellent restaurant recommendations. We went to the restaurant next to the guesthouse and had one of the best dinners of our trip to Iceland. The restaurant felt like a Michelin-starred establishment. It was expensive, but definitely worth it. Thanks for your recommendations and for the wonderful, comfortable service!
