The Hotel staff was very helpful and promptly responsed to all queries. The place was tidy and recommended all adventure seekers to halt at Anakulam, the stay is decent. You might have issues with food as not many options available nearby. But worth the time spent.

We were made to feel truly at home. The setting is idyllic, hidden away and incredibly peaceful. We really enjoyed our excursion to the rock pool and the amazing food at breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are so many spaces to relax, read a book, gaze at the view. Afternoon tea and our evening walks through the estate were also a highlight. I can't recommend Vanilla County highly enough.

Rani is a fabulous host, she cooks fantastic meals. I spent an evening with her and helped her cook the guest dinner. She is a great cooking teacher and I learned a lot. She also helped us organize a day trekking in the park. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. I really recommend Konark for your visit to Thekkady!
