The apartment was perfect – it had everything we needed. In the morning, we enjoyed a beautiful view with sheep and a pony grazing in the fields in front of the house. Martin also recommended a wonderful place for dinner with live music. I’ve visited several cities in Ireland, and I believe the Doolin and the place we stayed were the most authentic and comfortable. If I have the chance to visit Ireland again, I will definitely stay there.

Stunning countryside surrounds the Atlantic View, including the famous Burren area. such a welcoming place with many charming details, such as reading nooks with armchairs. the bed was a highlight, we slept like logs. everything was very clean and the wooden furniture of good quality. the breakfast room overviewed the ocean and nearby meadows with cows and the breakfast was excellent.

The host , Ann Marie went out of her way to accommodate our every need . The breakfast is plentiful and delicious.

The property has mountain and lake views, and is 2.8 km from Doolin Cave. The guest house features family rooms. I was HIGHLY impressed with my room, view and location. In fact, we asked if we could stay longer, but they were booked! Darn! The bathroom was HUGE, and I loved that the shower door completely covered...not those stupid half doors that get the floor all wet. Everything was decorated so beautifully and many personal touches like snacks, water etc in the room. They even had washcloths...lol...which is not common in Ireland. I will stay there again!!!

The Old Cottage, a property with a garden, is situated in Doolin, 12 km from Cliffs of Moher, less than 1 km from Doolin Cave, as well as 22 km from Aillwee Cave. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the guest house free of charge. When staying at The Old Cottage, guests can use private entrance. The cottage is absolutely dear and the surroundings are lovely. The host is lovely and supportive. The cottage is super clean and was exactly what we needed for a small stopover.
