Paparisa is a brand new, small, private and secluded homestay with the nicest houses in Kri Island by far (compared to all the other homestays). The place has five "resort level" cosy houses with ensuite semi-open air bathroom (rare in Raja Ampat), big nice comfortable beds with mosquito net, a small private terrace in each house to relax or to watch the sunset and a small restaurant to enjoy your meals (they are building a nice sunset view big restaurant which they said will be ready by September 2025). They provide towels, toilet paper and linen so no need to bring yours. They have some toiletries but better bring some extra shampoo and shower gel for your convenience. Electricity is available almost half of the day and it is more than enough to charge anything in your room! The sea is just three meters from your door so you can easily swim whenever you want. This is also very convenient for diving or excursion's pickups as the boats pick you up straight from your door to go for diving or for a trip! Also, in walking distance you can snorkel in very amazing home reefs on your own. Paparisa rents for a small amount of money snorkeling equipment and these guys can also arrange several snorkeling trips to anywhere in the area. They also have contacts around so don't hesitate to ask them for anything you need! The communication before arrival through WhatsApp was exceptional and they have helped us a lot with our planning (the boat from Waisai to Kri arranged by them and a lot more). The food in the place is very tasty and feels like home and they are willing to cater any special dietary needs (vegetarian, vegan etc).

The hosts were friendly and helpful, always making sure guests felt comfortable. The food was fresh and tasty, with delicious local fish and fruits served every day. It’s an ideal spot for snorkeling and exploring nearby islands — the underwater life here is absolutely incredible. A wonderful place to relax, disconnect, and enjoy the natural beauty of Raja Ampat!

The resort is beautiful, the water had different blue and green colors everyday, beautiful sunrise and sunsets. T The food that had taste of love, really we travel a lot and never saw a home made food SO great. The crew took us to the best dive spots we have ever been with security and the diver was super dedicated to give us good experience. Ramdhan helped us with everything we needed and more. We never wanted to live. Finally we will miss our cat friends Puri, Puti and the others. Good location, private bathroom, excelent bed, great food, nothing to worry but enjoy. Amazing snorkeling roght in front of the resort full of fish and colorfuk corals.

The ocean view rooms are just above water and you can just junp into the ocean from your porch ready to snorkel. The room and the common areas were clean The toilet is outside the room. The food is good and quantities are enough. They told us that in July they wikk do some renovation work in the rooms. The service was perfect and we did a couple of excursions with the team. They were very attentive with my 73 years old father. We recommend this Guesthouse. Thank you very much.

They were so kind, nice and helpful. Vence, Oscar, Rio and all the rest did their best to make us comfortable. It is a veey peaceful island. The beach front bungalows were basic (Raja Ampat style homestay) but very comfortable and clean. The view from the bungalows was amazing, also wonderful sunset. The shared bathroom and toilet was always clean. Family always keep the homestay very clean. The food was great. We had different varieties and even snacks in the afternoon. They always put hot water for our tea and coffee all day. Vence speaks pretty good English and he helped us a lot for our tours. We picked here since it is closer to Wayag so we did Wayag tour with them and it was amazing! We also did snorkel tours where we saw manta too :) We absolutely recommend here to stay to go to Wayag (it takes 2 hours to go there from here).
