Great view from the room and from the terrace, fresh air. Located between Malang and Bromo, so it is very convenient to go from the ecolodge to the Bromo tour. Scooters can be only rented on Malang, better to take minumun 120cc if you want to travel around, for example, to Sewu waterfall. Gojek works, but in the evening there maybe problems to get one, get a car in advance or ask the owner. The owners btw are very very cool and helpful! Thank you for helping us out!!!! We really enjoyed our stay, it was clean, cozy and nice to be outside of the main centre but with easy access by foot or grab.. The local host in charge is an Indonesian couple. They are super friendly and willing to share life stories with guests. Cats and dogs in the facility are well taken care of. It is highly recommended to read the booklet of the "History of Rumah Lereng Bandung" during the stay. In sum, this is one of the best place that I've ever stayed.

We were very lucky that Kawah Ijen reopened the day of our stay and I first heard the confirmation from Annie. The location is already near from the port so if you will be going to Bali after staying at Bayuwanggi this is a good option. The hostel also arranged the Ijen tour for us. We will surely stay here again if ever we comeback.
