We definately recommend this place especially because of the amazing hosts who made us feel more than welcome.

The owner and his wife are very nice and friendly (they are supposed to taking a break for winter).

Only a 15-minute walk from Plitvice Lakes in Mukinje, the traditionally built Villa Knezevic-completely renovated 2025 offers authentic Lika-style accommodation made from stone and wood. Free WiFi is available and free parking is provided. It was close to the entrance 2 to Plitvice Park, it had all the amenities we needed and we had a good sleep there. The people there were very nice to us and we had a lovely time.

Not many rooms, thus it feels like a home. The area is fantastic with a lot of greenery and flowers. The pool is very well kept. Breakfast and the optional evening buffet are really good. The property has quiet street views and is 4.9 km from Plitvice Lakes National Park - Entrance 1. Everything was great, a comfortable bed, hot shower, everything is new and good quality. Good advice from hosts. The bus stop is 6 mins walk away. Note, bring shampoo and tea with you. There's a kettle and cups in the room, but no tea.
