Yanni was an amazing host, he picked us up at the port, drove us through town making sure to highlight good food spots, walking paths and was over all very kind and helpful. The location is perfect right in the middle of the stunning beach just a 10 min walk down hill and a 4 min walk to the city centre. This hotel and host made our Ios trip, and we couldn’t not have been happier with our stay!

The rooms are decorated in the traditional Cycladic style with a balcony overlooking the Aegean Sea. Markos village is located in Ios Town, in the heart of nightlife and 5 minutes by bus to Mylopotas beach and port. It is traditionally built and offers panoramic views of the scenic town. Guests can enjoy a drink at the bar next to the swimming pool. The people were amazing. Highly recommend. So welcoming and helpful and an amazing environment

The staff were so lovely and kind, really helpful and sweet! The location couldn’t have been any better. 1min walk to town, 1 min to the bus stop and lovely restaurants. 10min walk to a beach. The nightlife is really close but you cannot hear it in the room if you don’t go out. The room was absolutely gorgeous, much nicer than we had initially expected. 10/10 stay
