Was able to purchase early parking and check in. The staff were helpful and welcoming. The hotel was clean, bright, modern and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, fruit juices, fruit, yogurt, granola and cereals and a great selection of cooked breakfast choices.

The Westbourne is a beautiful guest house set in the peaceful area below Biskey Howe in the Lake District. Bedrooms feature walk-in-shower rooms, luxurious toiletries and large fluffy towels.

Wonderful breakfast. rooms are big enough and modern. The hotel is walking distance from the city center. new owners. will definitely come back.

Original Victorian period features adorn the property, which also offers a cosy lounge. Good location, friendly people - made everything so convenient for me. From check in, breakfast, etc. beautiful and clean room. I had a lovely stay. Highly recommended.

It was a wonderfully warm and comfortable room and bed, with a welcoming bath. Breakfast was in the room - great selection of hot food, toast, juices, tea and French press coffee.

Great location just a 5-10 minute walk to the centre of town and also to the lake. Near parking and the view from our window over sheep in the paddock was very relaxing.

Fabulous comfy bed, breakfast was great. Hosts were superb, very friendly, polite and helpful.
