I’m an American that came to Scotland/Skye for a week to hike and see the beautiful country. I was greeted by my host, Hector, after a long day of driving and delays. I was provided with my own small fridge with snacks, a kettle for tea/coffee, dishes/cutlery, all the little things one may need. The hallway had a microwave, toaster, other snacks, another fridge with shareable items. Any dirty dishes I had were cleaned and replaced on the counter in the hall for me to bring back into my room later. A massive bonus for me personally was the small fan since I usually sleep with a fan at home. The room had a skylight with a blackout shade in it so I could sleep without being woken by the sun. The bathroom had a towel warmer, which felt like a luxury since they aren’t standard in every home in America. Hector was super sweet and even gave me a little Highland coo figurine when I left.

On the Isle of Skye’s spectacular north west coast, The Tables Guest House in Dunvegan offers stylishly appointed rooms and a full breakfast menu. Everything was incredible - great rooms and mattresses. Beautiful view. Cozy common spaces. Nice opportunity to have teas and coffees for free always. Most amazing breakfast in the morning. Kindest hosts - best stay in Scotland by far.

I highly recommend staying here. Everything was nice and clean. If you look closely, you will find little "Easter eggs" in the apartment. The host responded quickly to our questions. As for the location, it is close to a supermarket, so you can conveniently buy everything you need without having to travel long distances. We also liked the decorative design of the room. It was designed with a clear purpose in mind.
