Great location on a quiet street only a few minutes walk from the center, comfortable room (ceiling fan was enough in summer), nice bed, good shower and clean room, nicely stocked common area, helpful staff. My room code didn't work at first, but it was quickly resolved.

Casa Mamre is the best place to stay in Gran Canaria. Located in the barrio of San Fernando (built in the mid-19th century), it is a gem in the faceless hotel-lined Maspalomas. The location, amenities, room, kitchen, terrace, and transportation are simply excellent. Casa Mamre exudes an incredibly warm, friendly atmosphere, offering the opportunity to meet fascinating travelers, all thanks to the fantastic hosts Francesca and Francesco. The sound of Italian and Spanish languages during conversations was enchanting and remains in my memories.

It had been a plantation in the past but water shortages have changed that. They grow as much fruit as they can for guests. I especially enjoyed the company of the cats and chickens at breakfast

We had the pleasure of being the very first guests (2 adults + 2 kids) in this wonderful apartment and we were absolutely thrilled! Everything was spotlessly clean, modernly and stylish furnished, and extremely comfortable. You can tell that every detail has been thought of to make the stay as pleasant as possible for guests. The location of the apartment is perfect — the amenities were excellent, from the fully equipped kitchen to the cozy beds and stylish decor and the small garden. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, gave us a warm welcome, and were always available for any questions. We felt welcome and well taken care of from the very first moment. This apartment is definitely a hidden gem and we highly recommend it ! Thank you for this unforgettable stay to Juana and family!

Jeffry is a great host, he gives you enough information and is there if you have questions. But other than that you feel like you have a nice place to stay, close to the Yumbo Centre, all to yourself. The place is really close to Yumbo, I walked back and forth a couple of times if I happen to forget something. It's very clean and spacious. There's a nice pool too.

Casa Luz is located in a corner of the Paradise. In between huge mountains of Gran Canaria, 20 minutes drive from Agaete port through an amazing route by the mountain....you arrive in El Risco, a very small village where the locals are all smiling and you see them working together as a community. When you enter Casa Luz, you discover that there is absolutely everything you may need for your stay, even things that you didn't know you needed. You basically feel right at home. The house is kept wonderfully clean, and there are a lot of small details that will make your stay a truly memorable one. Photos don't do justice of what the house is actually like (it's a lot better than in the photos). Another AMAZING feature is the fact that you CAN drink the tap water, which was impossible for us in any other location on Gran Canaria and Tenerife. You can feel that the water is pure, directly from the mountain, without chlorine. Raul and his mom, Mari Luz, are very friendly hosts and available to help you anythig, while offering your privacy. The terrace was our favorite part. During the day you can sunbathe, at sunset you can enjoy the sights of the local fauna (some majestic birds), and at night you have the whole sky for yourself, completely free of light pollution, so ideal if you like to watch the stars. I could go on with this description way longer, but I'll stop here before the nostalgia of the fact that we only stayed for 3 nights will get too overwhelming. I can't wait to be back. Wonderful little boutique away from the touristic bustle, with friendly and attentive hosts. The attention to quality and detail is in every aspect, starting from the tastefully decorated rooms and finished with the way the breakfast is organized. I would definitely stay here again on my come back to the island.
