We loved our stay at Aylluwasi which means family home in Quechua. Alberto our host was so kind and helpful. The location is very central so we could easily get there via foot from the bus station and the the famous Otavalo market was just one block away.There was also an amazing coffee place just around the corner. It was great to have such big clean rooms and also the opportunity to cook for ourselves in the communal kitchen. It was especially nice to have a smoothie machine! All in all we would recommend this place if you looking for affordable accommodation with a lot of heart and soul.

Location two blocks from tourist area, so quiet, no qualms walking area. Wifi ok. And a simple breakfast included.

Offering a restaurant, Hosteria Cabañas Del Lago is located in Otavalo, just steos from San Pablo lake. Free WiFi access and free private parking are available. I LOVED this hotel - it was so cozy and adorable! The view was incredible and the service was top notch! The food was another level and the grounds were spectacular! I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Otavalo area.

Just across the street, there is a breathtaking view of the lagoon, which adds to the charm of the place. To top it off, the food was absolutely amazing – a true highlight of our experience. Loved our host, very sweet people and didn't mind me using Google translate to communicate better. He even took us to a few places most visitors probably don't think about. They prepared us dinner one night which was great! The house is super cute and clean, love the view to the lake. The town is safe to walk I'm at night. Make sure to go to Bambu Grill. Great place to eat.
