The accommodation has a sauna. The guest house features family rooms. Everything about our stay was wonderful. The property was spotless, very quiet, and had all the amenities we needed. The owners were extremely kind and helpful, making us feel genuinely welcome. The breakfast was an excellent choice—homemade, delicious, and very filling. A perfect start to each day. The location is in a charming, peaceful village surrounded by fields, with a lake just across the street. The traditional architecture of the house added to the authentic local charm. You could truly feel the spirit of the area, with neighbors keeping animals and the serene atmosphere all around. The property is also perfectly positioned for exploring the island. We brought our bikes and had a great time riding through forests, along the coast, and visiting places like Sellin, Binz, Prora, and Sassnitz—all easily accessible by bike. The bed was very comfortable and we slept wonderfully every night. Totally recommend this place—we’d love to come back!

Homelike comforts include a flat-screen TV, modern bathroom and a furnished balcony or terrace. Excellent service, well equipped and very clean apartment, very close to beach and main street. Car parking on site. Personnel does not speak in English.

Free rental bikes are offered at the guest house, which is an ideal base for hiking and cycling here in the Südost-Rügen (South-East Rügen) Nature Reserve. A 9-hole golf course can be found just 3 km away in Karnitz. Gutshous Ketelshagen is the perfect destination in Rugen. A beautiful house in the middle of nature ( from your window you can see deers) but still close to the sea (Binz is 20 minutes away). The rooms are super clean, cozy, and well-furnished and the bed is very comfortable - You feel like at home. The house is run by lovely Ruth and Hannah who were super welcoming and very nice.  I had big trouble with my car and they were very helpful with my situation. If you are planning to go to Rugen this house should be your sleeping destination - 10/10.
