Situated in Playa Blanca, a few steps from Playa Blanca, Vista Linda Cabaña offers beachfront accommodation and various facilities, such as a bar. We had an amazing stay at Vista Linda. We originally booked for only one night as we didn't know how we'd handle the lack of air conditioning but there is good ventilation in the cabana. We stayed for an extra night and would have stayed longer if our itinerary had allowed for it! Manuel is so kind and friendly, he was a great help in organising transport to Barú and the mangrove and plankton tours, or even just chatting and having a drink with us. Roxana is amazing, whipping up delicious food in the kitchen and keeping the place spotless. Food portions are huge and very prices for both food and drink are very reasonable. The cabana is in a good location, away from the busiest section of the beach, although be aware there are still some boats where you enter the water. We have no complaints whatsoever, everything is as described. If you are accepting of the basic facilities on offer on Barú in general you'll not have any troubles here. I doubt you'd get a better, more relaxing atmosphere for a similar price.

Located right on the beach, it’s close to restaurants and little shops. The rooms are nice and there is good quality wifi. Juan is also an excellent host, always on hand to help or answer questions. Would recommend.

Guests at the inn can enjoy a continental breakfast. Rafael and Sol we’re just wonderful. Tjhe proximity to the beach and ocean were great. The staff was so helpful. They helped us arrange transportation from the airport, including a van and taxi boat, as well as boat transportation the next day to enjoy the islands and go to our next hotel destination. So nice!

Additional in-room amenities include wine or champagne, fruits and chocolates or cookies. The place is very basic, but Carlos make sure its always clean. You will see him cleaning the whole place multiple times.

Beautiful and very accomodating. All areas were so clean all of the time! Congratulations!! It cannot be easy with all the sand and people, but it is perfectly done! You would also expect the food and drinks menu to be overpriced,but it is not. Very fair for the location. The hostel is also very well located. There's areas at the beach that are less quiet, others that don't have that much beach space, but this is beautifully done here.

Playa Blanca is a touristy spot in the days, however, this hostel is really tranquil in the evenings, and mornings in particular. We had the balcony area to chill in during the days so your away from any crowds, still looking out on the beach and able to just walk down to get in the water when you wish.
