We got an upgrade to the big apartment, which was a pleasant surprise. It was very spacious, stylish and well equipped. The location is pretty perfect, close to the centre but not loud or crowded. We didn't interact a lot with the owners, but everything went really smoothly. They also offer parking spots close by (for additional cost) if you arrive by car, which takes away a potential headache.

The host was fantastic! This place is one room and a bathroom in the owners’ house, but you have the whole ground floor and it is completely private. It was about a 10-15 minute walk to the historical center through a nice park. The house was less than 5 minutes from the train station. The value was excellent. We would definitely stay here again if we are fortunate enough to return to Brugges.

The property is super! It is very clean. All the details are made for guests to feel comfort. In the bathroom you will find towels as in a hotel, amenities(shower gel, shampoo, soap, toothbrush and toothpaste), hairdryer. In the room you will find bathrobes, electric kettle, tea & coffee. I want to mention the host - Sara. She is super friendly and super organized. She has created a full guide for people who visit Bruges with the recommendations of cafes, restaurants, shops and all the parts of Bruges that can be interesting. We have visited two of her recommended places and everything was really very tasty and budget friendly. So, big thanks to Sara for being so enthusiastic and helpful!

The owner was very accommodating and available within moments whenever I had a question. I liked my room. It was bright, clean and had everything that I needed. The room was well decorated. Doux Foyer is very convenient to the center of the city. Fabulous bakery is within one block and the beach less than a mile's walk. Tourist information is within blocks as is a bike rental.

I had a room in the hotel's recently upgraded Guesthouse. Breakfasts were in their popup restaurant whilst the main hotel and restaurant is being upgraded. The food was excellent, and the room (No 8) was excellent too. All of the hotel's facilities are either in, or just off, the main square, making access to Talbot House, the Hop Museum, etc, all within very easy walking distance. The Hotel de la Paix is a family run business, and the owner and staff are all friendly and helpful. My group has stayed with them many times in the past, and hopefully will continue to do so in the future.

Beautiful home outside of the city walls. Very quiet and relaxing with lovely outdoor space to enjoy. It was clean very well stocked with everything we needed and the owner is the great next-door and we’re very helpful. Grocery store was down the street along with a lovely bakery. Great place to stay.
