The guesthouse is conveniently located within a short walking distance of the station, hotels and shops.

The property is gorgeous and they have done a wonderful job at renovating, stylish, fresh and very cosy. The breakfast was exceptional and a real highlight. A superb two course breakfast with homemade relishes and banana bread, perfectly cooked eggs too. I would highly recommend Closeburn House for a quiet weekend, it’s a 10 minute drive to Blackheath which has some great restaurants, bars and pubs. Many fantastic walks close by too. Such a wonderful place, will definitely be back!

Katoomba Kurrara Historic Guest House is a 15-minute walk from Echo Point and Katoomba Station. It is a 12-minute drive from Wentworth Falls and a 20-minute drive from Blackheath Grand Canyon. The beautiful Jenolan Caves is a 1.5-hour drive away. Ian was a legend. We got engaged the day we arrived, this was the perfect place to celebrate. We'll be back for the anniversary. Close to walks and near enough to town.

The place was quiet and well located. Allowing doggo, with a cute backyard to throw a ball. Loved the doggy and human treats.

Melissa was also super accommodating for our dog and provided us with some additional towels to dry him off as it was was raining heavily. The accommodation was immaculately presented and well equipped for a very relaxing stay.

The property has an outdoor dining area. This beautiful studio and its lovely garden (including a secret little spot in the back) felt so Zen. The welcoming touches, flowers, furnishings and accessories, beautiful bathroom products, comfortable bed with quality linens were so lovely - I could go on and on. The host Lynne checked to be sure we had everything we needed. We met her briefly and she was warm and so welcoming. This was a very memorable stay in a charming town with easy and quick access to the wondrous Blue Mountains. If it is available, book it!

This 1930’s style guesthouse offers comfortable rooms in central Katoomba, across from the Kingsford Smith Park. Attractions nearby The Metropole include the Blue Mountains’ Three Sisters and the Scenic Railway. It features an on-site restaurant. The building was right up my alley. Lots of style - beautiful old woodwork and charm. The rooms looked newly renovated and everything was clean.
