Guests can take in the views of the mountain from the balcony, which also has outdoor furniture. Additional in-room amenities include wine or champagne. The apartment was located in a quiet residential area but very close to the bus stops (within a 2-4 min walk). We conveniently used the buses (Line 1, 10, 21, 22) to get around the city.  The apartment itself was so lovely. It was modern, incredibly clean and tastefully decorated. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was especially large and bright with lovely touches. The kitchen was also spacious and nicely equipped. Plus, it had a lovely balcony with comfy chairs. Our host Susanne was very communicative and helpful. She sent a detailed instruction with photos for self check-in and was very responsive to any questions. We had a truly wonderful stay, thank you!!

It is possible for guests to sit outside and enjoy the property grounds. clean, quiet, with a lot of space apartment, kitchen well equipped, parking for our car, near bus station. The receptionist will polite and very helpful to our questions.

We LOVED staying in The Little Guesthouse. The staff members are wonderful, they made us feel very welcomed, they really went the extra mile for the guests' comfort. The place is pristine clean and the room is very cozy. It's walking distance from the main sights. Highly recommended, we hope to go back someday!

The host was absolutely lovely, made me feel at home from the moment I got there. I had lost my suitcase, but they helped me with pratical things - and breakfast was super :-)

Hohensalzburg Fortress is 2.7 km from Pension Ballwein, while Getreidegasse is 2.8 km away. The nearest airport is W. A. Mozart Airport, 3 km from the property. This even exceeded my expectations. I saw the many positive reviews ... and still was positivly surprised ... This is the ideal place if you come by car (good, safe, free of charge and enough parking next to the house), a bus stop (Nr 21 "Gsengerweg") to the city center is also right there (between the parking and street with busstop is just a hedge sepatating street and house.) For me it was an ideal place to relax (very calm but safe environment, much nature) and work (desk in the room, good light). My room had a spaceful cosy balcony with view to mountains (besides: it's that mountain from the "Sound of Music poster"). Spaceful modern bathroom. Super clean,  room, even the inside the wardrobe had a fresh/neutral smell. My room was modern but cosy, perfect size, tasteful room design. There was a mini bar in my room with good choise of things, a kettle and coffee machine, teas and coffee, hair dryer, safety box, air conditioning, good size TV, sofa, balcony with comfy chairs. Nearby are several restaurants in walking distance (Lake of "Sound of Music" is just 1 km away). Breakfast is included and very good. But the best was: The owners - a family - of this pension are super kind, they really care for their house and for their guests, in the exact proper way (not too much, just right and sensitive for each guest's needs) -  I felt super good and "at home". (Little secret: "Family pension" is a bit of an understatement, the couple are both trained in hotel management, they are professionels! This is like a 4 star hotel which feels like a home!)

Overlooking the Salzach Valley and the Untersberg Mountain, Pension David is 1 km from Puch and 4 km from Hallein. Salzburg can be reached in a 15-minute drive. It features an outdoor pool, free WiFi access, and en suite rooms with satellite TV. Scenic and peaceful. Train tickets to Salzburg were appreciated.

Featuring a private beach, Hotel Garni Melanie in Wals bei Salzburg has an indoor swimming pool, a fitness room and a spa area with a sauna, steam bath, infrared cabin and a sun bed. Bicycles and parking are available on site free of charge. The room was very spacious. The bath was huge. The spa was having everything on tiny space.
