Lovely well laid out and well equipped property. Really relaxing feel about the whole place. Views at the end of the driveway overlooking the Crocodile river into the KNP. Lovely attentive staff and interaction with Michelle the owner always good and on hand. Very highly recommended to all that love the true African way of life. Also on the plus side the property is only 15 mins from Crocodile Bridge the entrance to the Kruger Park.

This place left a special mark on my heart. The wonderful Bernadette is the soul of this home! I truly felt like part of a family. She took such warm care of us, organized all our tours, and the guides were amazing — we saw all the animals! The lodge is located right inside the park, where you can feed animals or watch them directly from your car window. Zebras, giraffes, and many others roam freely — it’s magical! Our room was cozy and beautifully designed in traditional style, with a thatched roof that keeps the warmth during cooler nights and offers pleasant coolness in summer. The room also had air conditioning, which was especially appreciated after long days of travel. The beds were very comfortable, and coming back to a hot bath after a day of excursions was pure bliss. There’s a separate kitchen with everything you need to cook your own meals, and even a fireplace area where you can relax by the fire or enjoy a barbecue. The atmosphere is simply incredible. This is truly a special place, and I’ll 100% return again. Highly recommended!

Exceeded Expectations! The accommodations perfectly matched the pictures, and surprisingly, it was even better in person! The addition of a dishwasher was a delightful surprise, making our stay even more convenient. One helpful tip: be prepared to load electricity for the aircon, as it can get quite hot. Overall, we were thoroughly impressed and would highly recommend this place. The host has thoughtfully equipped the space with everything needed for a comfortable stay.

We had an amazing time at SVH Bush Lodge. The place is absolutely fantastic! The surroundings are breathtaking, and the lodge itself is well-maintained and comfortable. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service throughout our stay. We enjoyed the beautiful nature trails and wildlife sightings. It was a truly unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

I arrived by car from Johannesburg after a long trip. A delicious local BBQ was organized by Sue and the staff on that night where my kids devoured the meat! We also did the laundry (hand washed) and hung our clothes in the back of the house. Next morning, the staff had folded everything :-) Heading to Krueger the next day, Sue was super knowledgeable and gave us advices that were super useful to get around.

Very lovely property. Well cleaned. 10 minutes away from the mosambic border and the crocodile bridge gate. Went as a stranger. Go out as a friend. Maria was very lovely and helped me for every issue we had. Definitely coming back.
