We booked this place because it was great value for money and we saw fab reviews particularly in praise of the host, ake. Absolutely lived up to and surpassed our expectations - such a kind, generous, welcoming, helpful host. Picked us up and dropped us back at the ferry. Gave us great recommendations. Made us breakfast every morning and rented us a moped for next to nothing! We will definitely return here some day. Thank you ake! <3

Rid was an amazing owner of Lanta Para Hut. When we arrived he greeted us and offered to cancel our booking because we couldn’t ride a scooter. He took the time to teach us if we wanted to try. In the end he helped us sort out renting a bike/car/ and tours.

The room was very tidy and cleaned almost everyday. The owners always provided us something in the morning, small sticky rice portions or fruits. They were very helpful and could help to organize everything for us.

The owner was very nice and helpful. We could rent motorbikes through the hostel and we got great recommendations where to visit on the island. It was a very happy and relaxed atmosphere which we really enjoyed.

Great value. Close to beach. All food at their restaurant was really tasty and price was fair. They offer beach towels without additional charge. Additional services as trips, laundry, taxi, etc are available for charge and owners help with everything.

We really liked our stay at the Cat Bungalow. The room and bathroom were clean and we really liked the porch with the hammock. The owners were very very nice. We had a great breakfast included in the price. The owner rented us a scooter and helped us organize a transfer to Koh Samui. Thank you!

What a place! Unfortunately we only managed to secure one night here due to our lack of planning and last minute booking but one night was better than none. The warmest welcome from Natty who runs the reception made us feel instantly comfortable. We arrived early but we were able to leave our bags and head out on a scooter that we rented from the hotel! The owners are full of life and are just two beautifully connected energies that ooze warmth. They have a you tube channel that they run call Sweet Life Lanta where they explore local life for both residents and tourists alike and close up looks in how locals live on the island. You can take a cooking class with Mon on site for a reasonable price, I was poorly so missed out but my partner had a great time. Speaking of being poorly, I was allowed to relax for the day (even though we had checked out) in the cozy area whilst my partner did the class and they checked to make sure I was okay and comfy. It’s a cute, cozy boho vibe nestled between tall trees and giant leaves ran by a beautiful family. I could go on all day. Stay here for two days minimum, we wish we could have.

Very clean, quiet and modern accommodation. Kind host, delicious breakfast. Very good location. Near the night market, shops, beach and ferry. Highly reccomended!
