I started my one-year journey in Thailand, and at the very beginning of it, I stayed at Star Samui Guesthouse on Koh Samui Island. The owner, Neno, was one of the kindest people I met at the start of my trip — truly an amazing person who helped me a lot and made me feel at home. I was so happy with my stay that I decided to end my journey in the same place where it began. I came back to Star Samui Guesthouse, and once again, everything was perfect. Neno is still the same wonderful person, and I’m really grateful for his kindness and hospitality. If you ever come to Koh Samui, I highly recommend staying here — you won’t regret it!

It’s just 200 meters away from the beach. Close to all markets you need. So many bars and restaurants around. The staff is very kind and helpful about everything. They did their best to help me. The room was very clean. Absolutely will stay again.

Excellent location. Fantastic, friendly staff! The property is in the centre of Chaweng and is shady with well tended gardens. The rooms are cosy with great hot water and are cleaned every day. A 2 minute walk to the beach. All in a great place to stay on oh Samui!

We loved our stay here. Kesha from the reception was always super nice and attentive. The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect aswell you are able to have all the restaurants and shops right at your door while we never heard anything of it at night! The beach is also just 2 minutes away and absolutely beautiful. Our room was spotless and matched the pictures. We would definetly come back:)

This has to be the nicest stay I've ever had anywhere. This could be because I could stay in my lovely room, smoke on the balcony, walk anywhere and anywhere, rent a motorbike across the road and eat across the road for less than £5 the most excellent thai dishes as well as eggs and ham toast etc....and the grass is excellent and available 24Hhrs.

Close to the airport - really friendly transfer to the ferry. Very efficient- would stay again if needed a quick stop-over in Samui. Air Conditioning worked well - room was clean and large enough to repack suitcases. Nice view of the ocean to wake up to before an early ferry ride.
