Pretty well everything, the room was comfortable and clean and had a very hot shower, the Wi-Fi worked perfectly, there was a useful little honestly bar, the greeting on arrival was friendly, there was an inviting swimming pool, in a central safe and quiet location comma even the unpertentious name is endearing. I cannot recommend Joli Guesthouse enough. From the moment their taxi driver picked us up from the airport, the service of the staff was beyond excellent. My husband and I were visiting his son who lives in Maputo so we had him over every day and the staff were so accommodating to all three of us. The room was beautiful (king suite) and they cleaned and changed the sheets every morning while we were at breakfast. There was a continental breakfast but you could order something else from the breakfast menu at no additional charge. The pool and outdoor area was clean and beautiful. The staff would set out tea and homemade cakes or cookies in the evenings and there was a small mini fridge of drinks and snacks in the common area. We would absolutely stay again.
