Lovely hosts. We felt welcome straight away. The pool was so refreshing,.the room was massive, very clean and had everything we needed. Wish we could have stayed for longer than one night but we were flying the next day. The airport was just a few minutes walk away which was our reason for staying there

Kualena is an intimate, cozy hostel located right outside of the Zona Romantico's bustling centre. It is adjacent to useful shopping - a produce market, corner shop and Cafe. The rooms are very packed with beds, so it can be noisy in close quarters, but each bunk is well equipped! The private bathrooms per dorm are beautiful. Beds were new and very comfy with curtains for privacy and individual amenities. Lockers are a good size for carry on baggage and valuables. It is kept quite clean by the staff, including the full service kitchen and large outdoor patio common space. Service was really friendly and helpful for local busses/ transportation or recommendations for food.

The facilities are new, high-quality, clean, and comfortable. The location is unbeatable, close to the ocean. From my bed, I could explore the waves. But the best part is the staff. They're incredible, friendly, and welcoming. They make you feel at home from the first moment.

This is a very cute and unique boutique hotel with character and flavour that is often missed in new constructions. This place will be fantastic once the dream is completely realized. We liked and took advantage of the location by visiting nearby restaurants and shopping at a very good grocery store within walking distance. We used the kitchen available to all guests which was a convenience that really made a difference for our 4 week stay. Easy and close access to buses allowed day trips in to PV or other small towns if you wish. We did. The beach is 5 blocks away. The street has a slight increased gradient so you will have an uphill walk back at the end of the day. . .but not too difficult. (We are 67!) The near proximity to the major highway really wasn't an issue for us, but may be if you don't want any traffic noise at all. We enjoyed morning coffees in the lushly treed and nicely appointed courtyard. Patty is a supreme host and Adrian was available to help us out whenever we needed him. Thank you for a wonderful month in Bucerias!

The property was gorgeus and totally quiet. Beautiful flowers, big communial kitchen, washing machine, patio with tables and roof. Incredible view from the main gate. The room was cute. one wall had been preserved as natural mountain side (untouched rock wall). The bed and pillows were comfortable. Huge bonus for allowing pets. Super close to center. HOT WATER in the shower!! Pure nature around, but with gates, so doggies were safe. Was easy to book and for immediate need. The owner was very kind with us. Muchísimas gracias por él.
