There was nothing I didn't like on arrival and during my stay at the new Zagora Oasis Lodge. Nestled behind a traditional abode enclosed earth wall is a tranquil Palm oasis. Entering into this private Palmerie was akin to stepping into another world far from the madding crowds I had left in Marrakech. The natural, traditional rammed earth architecture has been beautifully renovated and attention to detail is evident, often an oversight in Morocco, it was such a pleasure to find everything so pleasing to the eye. After a long drive through the Atlas Mountains and Draa Valley, to be able to arrive at such a welcoming and relaxed place in a unique 'other worldly' setting felt heaven sent ! The rooms are of Moroccan Riad quality with stylish attention to detail. King size beds with high quality bed linens and beautiful decorative items. A/C that also doubles as a heater was a welcome offering during my stay in February as the early mornings can be cool. You can see and feel that the local owners have put much considered thought into this place for the comfort of their visitors, so much so that I returned to extend my stay before returning to Marrakech after a Desert Tour to the towering dunes of Erg Chigaga, which the lodge also offers and provides. This is the place to stay if you are travelling to and exploring the Southern Saharan region. A place that will stay forever in my memory and one I intend to return to with friends for an extended stay. Stylish, authentic and traditional is a heady Moroccan accommodation mix for sure. had a lovely stay at Riad Le Petit Jardin. The staff were warm and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the garden was a beautiful, relaxing space. Breakfast was fresh and delicious —highly recommended

We stayed at this accommodation with a group and every one was delighted with their room. The palace styled and spacious rooms are very accommodating and furnished with all the facilities one could wish for. The rooms have a large and well equipped bathroom and the beds are incredibly comfortable. The whole place is immaculately well cleaned and the owner is very welcoming. Breakfast is abundant and excellent. We were only able to stay one night which really is not enough!

Clean and attractive rooms, beautiful garden to relax in, excellent home-cooked food. The owner and staff were extremely kind, welcoming and helpful (made sure we were comfortable, showed us where to go for walks and arranged trips for us). It’s a short walk from Zagora centre but a nice quiet place to relax away from the bustle of the town.

Astonishing location, beautiful building, very comfortable, quiet room. Exceptionally helpful and friendly staff. Dinner and breakfast were delicious, filling and very keenly priced. Kasbah Ziwana is an absolute gem.

It was clean and comfortable with spacious rooms, also it is a short way back from the main road, so it is quiet and tranquil. The host was knowledgable, helpful and laid-back. Altogether this is a nice little oasis.

Our host Ali was very friendly, helpful, and attentive. He speaks many languages, including excellent Dutch. He helped us arrange our desert excursion. The location is a little paradise, with a lovely swimming pool and terrace. The room was comfortable and clean and the food was good. We highly recommend this place! The owner is also a guide! We didn't plan anything, so we were very lucky that we could book a tour to Erg Chigaga on the spot, and left 1 hour later for a 2-day trip by jeep. It was very well organised. The owner of the kasbah, and for 2-days our guide into the desert, is very kind and helpful. The place is well designed and the room was very comfortable. For me, the tour into the desert was the best part of our 2 week trip through Morocco. We stayed 2 nights in Kasbah du Bout du Monde and 1 night in Erg Chigaga in between. I definitely recommend this!
