We stayed here for 3 nights off-season and we really happy that we booked this hotel. Because it’s one of the few places that we really enjoyed in Weligam in May. Nice location , clean rooms and polite staff. Special thanks to owners Mr. and Mrs. Dias, they were very nice to us.

I stayed here for two weeks in July and absolutely loved it. You can use the kitchen and washing machine; there are lots of small shops nearby and the closest beach is really gorgeous :). During my stay I had two job interviews and Mihiranga booked an extra Wifi-package for me (free of charge) which worked perfectly. He's very kind and helped to ensure an amazing stay for me. I would definitly recommend this place! It's calm and beautiful.

Our stay at the Watergate Resort in Weligama was fantastic! Rooms: The rooms were spacious, beautifully simple, and very cozy – everything was clean and well-maintained, making it easy to feel at home. Beach & Surf: The location is ideal, just a short walk to a lovely beach and a great surf spot. Perfect for relaxing by the sea or catching some waves. Relaxed Atmosphere: The calm and welcoming vibe made it the perfect spot to unwind. The staff were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. We’d highly recommend this resort!

I have never seen such a large and well-equipped room before! It had everything I needed – a spacious attached bathroom with hot water, a kitchen, air conditioning, and plenty of space overall, which made my stay extremely comfortable. I originally booked for one night through Booking.com, but I decided to extend my stay because I loved it so much. The owner, Kavinda, was very attentive and helpful throughout my stay. Thank you for everything! I will definitely return next time.
