We stayed here for one night. The next day we went on a safari which was a new experience for us. They provided us with a very good jeep and a good driver.. Very nice rooms and it was very clean. The staff is very helpful. They brought us from Ella and dropped us back to Weligama for a very reasonable price. Everything was very good.

The room (with AC) and its bathroom was very clean and comfortable. We had a balcony on the river too. The family offers the possibility to have luch/dinner at their place for convenient prices. Sunethra, the woman who keeps the house is very friendly and she takes care of everything you need! Through the homestay we had the opportunity to book the Safari at Yala, they offer an half or full day experience and in the price are included the entrance ticket, the jeep and a lunch box. You don’t have to stress about anything. We highly recommend this accommodation.

I had an amazing stay with Priya! If you are searching for a host that goes far and beyond to make your stay perfect and feeling comfortable, you really need to stay here! He picked me up at the bus station, went with me in the evening on a lagoon safari, his wife made the perfect dinner (you can choose from a diverse menu), arranged a perfect early morning safari (and even woke up to make coffee/tea and some snacks!) And afterwards brought me to the bus to Tangalle and even put me on the bus! Thank you so much for this experience Priya and family! ☺️

Dilushika and Gayan were exceptional hosts, making us feel right at home. The breakfast was delightful, and we also enjoyed dinner there—Dilushika's egg kottu is the best! The garden is stunning! I could have easily stayed longer. The beds were comfortable, complete with mosquito nets for a peaceful night's sleep. I loved sleeping by the soothing sounds of birds. The view is absolutely breathtaking! They also organize safari at the best price with excellent guides. Additionally, they arranged a taxi to Ella for us at a rate even better than Uber.

I had an amazing stay at V Cabanas! The host is a great person. I was scammed during a safari and when I came to V Cabanas the day after, the host and his friend figured out how I was scammed (I was taken for a "safari" out of the official Yala Park). They offered to take me to the police and they did all the communications for me. He and his friend treated me like I never was before in all my travels. If you need to feel in safe hands and that you will find help when needed, come here. The accomodation it self is excellent. Super clean room and bed sheets, with new modern bathroom. I have only positives to say about the hosts and the room it self!
