Quiet spot near Lion’s rock. Staff were ready to help at a moment’s notice and ready to fix anything for me. They helped book affordable transport and outings to Pidurangala rock and Minneriya Park. They weren’t upset when I said the WiFi wasn’t fast enough or the eggs were too salty— they helped me fix the problems immediately and I had fast WiFi and tasty eggs! The environment of the hotel is very beautiful. The owner has a large orchard. In a corner of the orchard, there is a beautiful botanical garden, which was designed by the owner himself. We stayed in this botanical garden. You can imagine how beautiful it is! In addition, the hotel owner has a very polite son and a naughty and lovely daughter. We felt very happy playing with them.

We were treated like king and queen. :) The family really makes sure that your stay is perfect. We stayed 2 nights and we had delicious dinners and breakfast cooked by the mother :). Also the family arranged for a great elephant safari and we saw many ! The place itself is surrounded by nature which was really nice. The room is oke and the bathroom is very spacious and the shower is nice and has hot water. Also the bed is soft and comfortable. Special thanks to the son Lakshitha who made sure that the stay was perfect ! Highly recommended :)

It is an amazing place. We were lucky to stay in this guest house. The owner is a lovely person, always ready to help you. The breakfast and dinner were super tasty. The place has an amazing garden. Everything is very clean. We booked for one night but we decided to stay longer. Thank you so much for a wonderful time!

The host family was very kind and welcomed us with warm tea. The accommodation is surrounded by nature, with a beautiful garden and adorable children. Everyone was extremely friendly and full of hospitality. Although I couldn’t finish the breakfast due to my gluten allergy, the grandmother kindly made pancakes for us, and I was grateful for the thoughtfulness. Despite the challenges, they helped us arrange an early morning jeep tour to see elephants and assisted with entry to Sigiriya Rock, even on short notice.

Very friendly hosts who went above and beyond to make sure we enjoy our stay at Sigiriya. Some examples being dropping us off at the rock in the morning, being our private jeep chauffeur for the safari, being our taxi to Dambulla. We couldn't be more pleased with our stay! The view is as promised!

Views are amazing as they look and the family can’t do enough for you! Whether that is fresh coconuts, playing cricket, singing, helping organise trips/tuk tuks or special spicy sambal. Dinner was good and breakfast was lovely overlooking the rice paddies and rock. Also a nice lake a short walk away. I’d recommend here and happily come back. Also do ask for top room, I was luckily to get it and watching sunset from bed was lovely
