Our host was very nice and helpful. He arranged the rental of bicycles to visit the temple, he gave us information to take the bus and good advice to find local restaurants. The location is very convenient, close to shops, restaurants and now far from the temples. The room was very clean and quiet. We thank you for the very nice stay :)

Loved the attention and care given. Loved the meals would like to thank Sanka and his wife for their hospitality. Also the little cat that kept us company. And the excellent birdwatching and boat ride. They accommodated my friends fasting times and woke up early to make her breakfast and take us out also arranged all our transport in the city and to sigriya.

I only had one night here but I loved this place. I was given a welcome drink, the room was spotlessly clean, the shower was fantastic, the TV worked, and the bed and pillow were the most comfortable I've had in Sri Lanka. Amazing value for money.

The family is incredibly welcoming, from the parents to the son, that is helping from time to time. The rooms are nice and clean, the bed comfortable and you can rent a bike there to go visit the city (although a bit old they work well). The breakfast was very good. Our only regret was spending only one night here and continue our chat with the son and father. Thank you for the hospitality and the ride to the bus station!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sanctuary Cove Guest House, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. They went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They were always available to assist with any questions or requests I had, and their friendly demeanor made me feel right at home. the best hosts, the rooms are clean, the food is excellent... I felt at home, the hosts always helped and advised... I stayed a night longer... the best thing is that you can also rent a bicycle from them (ideal for the ancient city and surrounding villages) for me it's a wonderful experience to cycle in the villages .. they also offer a safari jeep if you want more wilderness
