This family guesthouse is a really wonderful experience. We arrived a little earlier than planned and the room was promptly made available for us. They helped with all of our questions & arranged a bike for us and we had a lovely breakfast every morning on the balcony. Stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed the place. The view is fantastic, good coffee, room service, fun manager:)) just keep in mind it’s in the mountains so the weather can get chilly and rainy.

The hosts were super friendly and helpful, absolutely lovely people. The food was amazing and freshly cooked to order. Saman was there for us throughout the stay and even gave us a lift into town when we needed it. Rooms were spacious and clean, balconies have stunning views of the valley. Absolutely recommend!

I had a very pleasant stay. Kalaiselvi was very helpful and welcoming. She helped me with questions and I was also able to rent a scooter. The room fits the price-performance ratio and I had a beautiful view of the mountains. I would definitely come back again.

Our second visit to Lilly Guest Inn was as good as our first, eight years ago. Rahim and Razmiya are wonderful, helpful hosts who go above and beyond to make sure their guests are comfortable. Breakfasts and dinner are delicious and varied, the bedrooms and bathrooms are spotless and the beds super comfortable. They will organise early starts to Lipton's seat etc, providing a tuk tuk and packed breakfast. A special mention to their safe, courteous and obliging tuk tuk driver Mahindra for whom nothing was too much trouble on our trips to local waterfalls etc. . Sri Lankan hospitality at it's heartwarming best, you will take home very warm memories of Lilly Guest Inn.

What a wonderful experience here in White Monkey in Haputale ! The family room was big and confortable (not cold), prices very low, the dinner and the breakfast prepared by the mother were so excellent! The climate was really friendly and lovely, kids had fun playing with other Kids around the house. I'll reccommend It to all the families !

We really enjoyed our stay there. The owner is really helpful and can set you up for touring the surrounding area. It's a little outside of downtown but ask about the shortcut and getting around becomes much easier. A stream flows by the property to send you to sleep and the porch view from the rooms is really something.

Really nice couple hosting the lodge. Had good tips for not so touristic trips and hikes in the area. Breakfast was great and the room was very comfortable with an amazing view.
