Gorgeous place, so modern and the view's amazing! Felt so comfy and relaxed after that long drive. Peaceful and quiet, but just a 15-minute stroll to Ella town. The host was super friendly and helpful, and breakfast was great. She even packed us an awesome breakfast to go when we had to leave early for our train!

The first thing that strikes me is the jaw-dropping view in front of the guest house. The place in itself was nice with a homely atmosphere with super-friendly staff, especially the manager (think his name was Sanath). I checked in late in the afternoon which was well after lunchtime and they were super nice to offer me a fresh and tasty meal. I enjoyed this kind of hospitality throughout my 2 day-long stay. This was exactly the place I was looking for when I planned my visit to Ella.

If you like the contact with the wild nature, this place will be for you. On our side we have been pleasantly surprised by the location even if it is very close to the Ella center. We have been able to walk to the center where there are a lot of restaurant for only 10 minutes. The couple who rent the rooms are very kind and they serve a breakfast completly homemade (even the jam). The breakfast is served on your own room terrace in front of the jungle (discreetly, through a hidden door)

The owner is SO lovely and accommodating. Goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Room was clean, quiet, lovely view, great location near to main strip but off the main roads so no noise. Would definitely recommend staying here

We had an amazing stay at the On Rock homestay! The homestay is located between Ella Rock and Little Adams Peak in the jungle, so there is an amazing view! The best part about our stay was the very friendly and helpfull host Rivandu. He helped us with activities en drove us around with his tuktuk. We will miss this place and would love to come back!

The room is spacious and clean with a really comfortable bed. The hosts are a lovely family that really take care of all your needs. Also the location is perfect, near all the nice restaurants and far enough to not be in the middle of all the noise.

The owner, Asanka, met us on the road and took us to the hotel. At that moment, there was a power cut in the area and Asanka did everything to make our evening wonderful - he lit candles so that there was light, prepared tea for us and treated us to a pie. He really wanted us to be comfortable, it's very nice! Soon the electricity returned. the rooms were clean, nice neat bed, clean bathroom, shower with hot water! Each room had bottled drinking water. In the morning you can see an amazing view from the balcony - you can see the mountains, the waterfall, on the other hand you can look at the train (they don't run at night, so we slept great). There were no mosquitoes and flies! We also had a wonderful breakfast in the morning! There was tea, milk, scrambled eggs, toast with butter and jam, and a wide variety of fruits. Thank you Asanka for your concern!
