We stayed in the department for one night, the rooms are clean and large. Villa with a beautiful view. There is hot water. In the morning we were made a wonderful breakfast with fruit, omelet and local breakfasts. It was very tasty.

10000/10!! Clean, spacious, modern, hot shower, great water pressure, hair dryer, nail clipper, mosquito net private entrance. Terrace, breakfast. You have your own little jungle. This is the best homestay in all of Sri Lanka for us. Hosts are beautiful people who do so much for you but respect your privacy also. They make you the best breakfast in the world. One day we stayed in the mountains hiking whole day and texted them that we don't need breakfast and they made us dinner. They are the best possible people, we loved them so much! Thank you for everything, we will forever be grateful and will return one day for sure! We will recommend you to everyone!! We already miss this homestay and hosts 😊

I travelled to Ella with my wife for holiday. We found Grand Rock View to be a small, tranquil place with a great character. Our room with balcony offered us the views of the whole valley where the city of Ella is located, including the Ella Rock and the waterfalls. It was a pleasure to just sit there and watch the world go by in the evenings. The place was quiet, as it is located away from any main roads. However, the centre of Ella can be reached from there by a 5-minute walk on the nearby railway tracks (which is how people normally get around there). The host was great, helped us to orient ourselves for our hikes to the nearby hills and was bent to fulfil any of our wishes. He also recommended to us several interesting dining options in Ella. The breakfast at the resort was very good and enjoyable. We enjoyed our stay at Rock Grand View very much.

Hospitality of Akku and team is so good. They know how to take care of their guests. They brought cake for my daughter's birthday, cooked amazing breakfast and provided all the support whenever we requested them. The view from the room is simply outstanding. You get to see waterfall, train route and jungle. The room and washroom size was good. Overall best place to stay in Ella and good value for money.

It is an amazing property. I stayed there for a couple of nights with my extended family in a chalet and a family room. We all could not have been happier with our stay. The property wasn't much to look at from the outside, but don't let looks fool you. Rooms and amenities inside were extremely high quality. Sisira and co were very warm, friendly, and respectful hosts, served us delicious meals. The views from the balcony were breathtaking. We would definitely go back there to stay.
