Location - it won't be a big problem if you do self-drive travel and follow the navigation with Google map and Navitime and sign on the way (a bit small though but very clear). Room - Very clean. Not the most trendy/fancy design but deserves a shoutout for its cleanliness without a doubt. Possibly meet some insects like ants, however it's unavoidable considering its location. Staff - Super friendly and helpful. 10/10. We arrived and check-in before dinner, and got offered few restaurant options for us to select from; she even passed us a hand-written note on her recommended dishes in Japanese, so that we no need to worry about any troubles on menu translation or else. We had some issues on our car the next day, we drove back and asked for help. She understands our situation quickly and gave us instant help. Beyond that, she gave us a ride for lunch and let us stay at the lobby until issue was settled. Our trip won't be that smooth without her help.

I loved my stay there - it felt very homely and the view from the room was stunning. I had breakfast both days and it was so tasty, everything is homemade. I wish I could have stayed longer. The cats were very cute!

Great place to have an enjoyable stay in onna village. The place has a very unique Charme, as it looks rather run-down from the outside. Yet, once you come closer you realize it's a beautifully designed hotel, that offers everything you need and more. I could not imagine a better place to stay value-wise. Also a pleasant surprise: the owner speaks comparable good English and really goes the extra mile for his customers. And check out the bar as well! The staff is super nice and tries to engage even if you don't speak good Japanese. They offer a wide range of japanese whisky for a fair price! Also another excellent benefit: if you go diving in the morning and miss breakfast, the staff will be so kind to save it for lunchtime. So you can drop by at 1PM and eat your delicious breakfast later on.

We LOVED this place!! First, the host is very welcoming and helpful. He was there for every question this best to help, and he even helped us to bring our bags somewhere else! Also he put so much effort in this place, it’s very clean and you can have everything you need. The common area is also very nice, there is kitchen tv and nice places to seat and relax. Wow. Thank you so much for this experience.

The family hosting me were so friendly and lovely! I cant believe they built this place up by themselves! They made my first night in okinawa so memorable and I loved interacting with all of them. They also have a little dog marumo who was very friendly too! Highly recommend this place if you want a genuine and homely experience❤️

I've never felt more at home at any accomodation honestly, everything was clean, the owners are super nice, the house and the location are amazing, and the price is very affordable. Every evening the owners and guests get together for dinner and drinks, which is really fun. The staff speaks enough English that it is not a problem to stay there with no Japanese knowledge at all, but depending on the guests the conversation in the evening may be in Japanese.
