The owner was lovely and welcoming! Good location just down the hill from the ski slopes. You can also buy ski passes which is handy!

Schanze Nozawa is fantastic. You are steps away from the Nagasaka gondola and the staff are awesome! The rooms are comfortable, spotlessly clean, with a communal dry room and free laundry. Breakfast was excellent and you are close to 13 Onsen and a 10min walk to the town centre. We look forward to returning to Schanze!

It had everything you needed. The toilets and showers were so clean at any time day or night. Breakfast for 500 yen was a great start to the day. Then you had dinner which was all you could eat which cost us around $30 Australian dollars for 2 adults. Our kids are free as they are under 6 years old. It had ski hire, free washing machine and dryer. Great location a short 5 minute walk to the main gondola to ski the mountains. The owner and staff were fantastic and very attentive and helped with everything we asked. Totally recommend

Extremely close to the slopes and bus across to Nozawa. Miki, the host, is exceptionally lovely and helped us with all of our needs. The rooms are clean, with comfortable Japanese futons to sleep on. The heaters worked so well I had to turn them off after an hour or so. Wifi is fast and works well. I highly recommend breakfast and dinner!

The property was in a nice location close enough to Iiyama Station. The hosts were some of the nicest people we have met and drove us to and from the station (6:30am!!). One of the comfiest places we have stayed and hope we can go back soon.
