Extremely friendly and helpful staff! They speak very good English and even organized an Onsen visit for me and another guest on the same day. The guest house is super cozy and it’s very nice to relax in the common area with the tatami floors. The guest house is located very close to Hakone open air museum, so it’s easy to reach by bus.

Location was accessible and walkable from the station, albeit there is a bit of an uphill walk as you are approaching the guesthouse. Staff were accommodating and allowed me to drop off my luggage early so I could explore and check in later. The beds have a very cool layout and offer comfort and privacy. Amenities were great especially the huge lockers.

The hostel was great! Very convenient location, a short walk from the station. Shared showers and toilets were spotless! There is also a full kitchen and a lounge, as well as a really great roof terrace. We were allowed to leave out bags before check-in and after check-out, which allowed us to be very flexible.
