Our best stay so far in japan. The surrounding area is beautiful and you find a lovely beach every 5 minutes. To host was very nice, giving us tips for our route and being very welcoming all round. The rooms very nicely done. Wished we stayed for longer, giving us more time to explore the area. The other people in the surrounding villages were also very friendly and curious. Cant recommend it highly enough!

The lady who ran it sorted me free parking and was generally very helpful including advice on where to dine and drink to meet the locals. It was super cheap and yet had the most comfortable mattress I've encountered in Japan so far. Power sockets by each bed , decent air con , free boiling water for drinks.

Located in the centre of Mikuni, a lovely seaside village in Fukui with a historic quarter. Mikuni Tsumesyo is located on the main street running along the axis, so it is conveniently located to everything you need. The house is truly amazing,, the photos do not do enough justice; gardens interior and design are all impeccable. I really enjoyed staying here but I wish could luve out of the house for an entire month.
