We met Ilaria and she is an amazing host. She was very flexible with the check-in and next to that took care and asked upfront whether there was any dietary restriction for the breakfast, providing great solutions. A very beautiful garden where it is possible to spend time outside.

Our stay was absolutely amazing. The place is meticulously curated down to the smallest details, making you feel like you've stepped back in time, yet with all the modern comforts of a beautifully restored property. The breakfast was incredible, offering both sweet and savory options, all homemade. The rooms were immaculate and tastefully decorated, as were all the indoor and outdoor spaces. The location is perfect, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive, going above and beyond to plan our entire vacation with spot-on recommendations for exploring Salento. Highly recommended doesn't even begin to cover it—if I ever return to Salento, there's no question about where I'll stay.

Our stay at the beautiful Palazzo Vigilarium was truly soul-soothing 🙂 The villa has been carefully renovated, combining the charm of the historic building with elements of contemporary minimalist design, thoughtfully refined in every detail — a true work of art in itself. The owners were incredibly attentive, always ready to advise and help whenever needed. Breakfast was excellent, and the facilities were luxurious, fragrant, and spotlessly clean. The village of Uggiano la Chiesa has a very pleasant and welcoming atmosphere. We especially enjoyed spending time on the rooftop terrace, from where there was a wonderful view of the lively street below and a breathtaking view of the church. We sincerely recommend this accommodation and truly hope to return one day 🙂

It was so relaxing with the tomato and watermelon farm in the back! The room was comfortable, clean and really well kept. We felt very looked after, and the great breakfast outside was always a great start to each day. We loved our private patio overlooking the garden. This is a family run place with a lot of pride and care. The location is excellent too. Uggiano is a nice town and very well connected to Otranto and other places. I hope we'll come back one day!
