Ca’ Barbieri Guesthouse is truly a home from home. Anyone wanting to escape from day-to-day life should stay here. Marie and her family are ever so kind and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble and they really looked after us. We left feeling like part of the family and are already planning our return for 2025 (we are counting down the days!!!) The breakfast each morning was plentiful and delicious, it set us up nicely for a day by the pool. The pool itself is a piece of heaven, it is spotless and deliciously warm, while also cooling on a scorching summer day. The rooms are comfortable, spotless, cool (amazing A/C!!!) and had everything needed for our stay. We especially loved the blackout shutters and mini fridge. We had a wonderful sleep each night. The location of the guesthouse gives a real rural feel, away from the hustle and bustle of Venice. This means you have a selection of restaurants which are frequented by the locals (always a good sign!). We will always remember our trip here. Thank you Marie

First of all, Monica was super welcoming and even if I only speak few italian she used an ipad to translate our conversation in real time, super easy! I felt like at home from the first moment. The house is very clean, with a nice terrace and garden, and the room and the bathroom were super clean and tidy, with nice decoration and lots of amenities and details like coffee, water, snacks, etc. Each morning, the room is cleaned like an hotel service, which I was surprised, thank you! What is also great and was essential for my stay is that they let you get a bicycle during the stay without an extra cost. This was super helpful to explore the area, which is very adapted to bicycle mobility. Every time I saw Monica and her husband they were super nice and warm with me. For sure I’ll repeat this place if I visit the area again. Grazie mille!!!

The location was perfect for us, as visiting family. Chris was fantastic and nothing was difficult for him. Rooms were very clean and very modern, and the air con was perfect.

If you want to visit Venice, this place is a truly hidden gem! There are a few rooms, and all of them can share two fully equipped kitchens. The whole property seems brand new and upscale. The rooms are very stylish you have a view to nature and everything is very clean. There is a wonderful big pool to refresh. 3 min. From the property there is the train station that brings you in 25 min directly to venice! There are enough spaces for the car and the whole property is protected by a big fence. We recommend this wonderful place and the very warm welcoming owners of this place! ♥️

Perfect location quiet within walking distance of everything especially the water taxi from airport There was a mini fridge and robes slippers. Free drinks on arrival and in fridge and also free breakfast. If you want somewhere very Venetian I would definitely recommend it. You can come and go as you please. Porta da Mar is pure Venetian charm! A big lounge when you arrive, with gorgeous Murano chandeliers! The balcony has an amazing view, located a pleasant distance from the sights, instructions to get the keys are very clear, easy to access, and easy to find. The room was clean, there were refreshments and snacks in the minibar. The contents of the minibar were included in the room price. The room was cleaned daily and the towels were changed. There was a very comfortable bed, a perfect shower, spare blankets in the wardrobe, kettle, iron, safe, hangers etc… The heat worked properly, the TV, etc…, Gian Paolo was very polite and helpful, my mother and sister felt at home! I recommend it very much and hope to stay there again when coming back to Venice. È stato un soggiorno molto piacevole, Grazie mille!
