Everything! There was so much detail put into everything. The decor was very tasteful with a modern bathroom. We absolutely loved drinking our morning coffee out of fine china cups along with a coffee maker and milk frother - luxury! The view out of our quaint window was quintessential Tuscany. The property is in old town and right around the corner you are spoiled for choice with iconic sights, restaurants, wine shops and gift shops. Self-check-in worked very easily but property owners were always available for any help. They have very good recommendations so really ask them what you would like out of your stay. They recommended such a good wine tour.

We stayed at Villa Chiccheio for 2 nights a few nights after getting engaged. We informed the Villa of our stay and were more than surprised to find a very cute personalized letter congratulating us with a box of famous tuscan sweets and a bottle of champagne that we shared by the pool. This experience was truly meaningful for us because it felt as though everyone at the villa was happy for us and celebrating with us. The property itself was absolutely stunning and very private. If you are looking for some peace and quiet and a serene atmosphere then this Villa is just for you. We are just finishing up our 3 week vacation and have to stay that Villa Chiccheio is definitely one of our highlights. We will be visiting Tuscany again in the future and when we do we will 100% be staying at Villa Chiccheio again, but this time for much longer. Thank you again for making our vacation and engagement special!

The apartment was stunning, well designed, very spacious and everything we needed. Towels were thick and super soft. It was so close to everything and Emanuela was a fantastic host, helping us with parking issues and a lost phone.

The historic architecture was maintained and serviced with impeccable and up to state standards. When we had difficulty locating public parking, the staff member helped with no hesitation and rode with us to find the parking lot. He also helped with fantastic recommendations for dinner. Breakfast at the dining room was also beyond lovely. The sweet and fresh pastry, fresh fruit and coffee etc will be part of our beautiful memory of San Donato.

Location is excellent, in the middle of Montepulciano, with everything accessible on foot. Luisa and Guiseppe were most helpful in providing suggestions on what to see / do in the area, along with restaurant recommendations. Would definitely stay here again if I return to Montepulciano

The terrace has one of the best views on the town, and it's excellent for having a glass of wine or breakfast while enjoying the vast romantic landscape. The room was cosy and modern, tastefully designed and equipped with a coffee machine and all you would expect for an Italian style breakfast. It was much more than we expected.Wonderful place.
