Great accommodation, well placed for star trip. Excellent location for northern light chasing. The owners are very cooperative in all means. Very good breakfast in a Cousy and very pleasant dining room. Bottom line: warm recommendation.

The property is really beautiful - the decor is tasteful,warm and friendly. It has a hot tub and a cold plunge and a huge kitchen. There is a garden/conservatory linking the kitchen to the house which is simply wonderful filled with amazing plants with lots of seating. It is nothing like anywhere else we have stayed and stands out from the rest of the accommodation available in Iceland.

The location, facilities, and the way the accommodation made you feel was absolutely exceptional. The room was beautifully clean with a pleasant smell. We really enjoyed our stay at Gaukshof! 🌟 The property is full of charm, with a peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. Our room was clean, comfortable, and cozy , perfect for a relaxing night after exploring the area. The location is great, offering both tranquility and easy access to nearby sights. We would happily stay here again and definitely recommend it!

We had a great stay at Hestakráin guesthouse. We met with the new owners of the place and they were friendly and welcoming. The place is cozy and quiet, with a great bar and nice breakfast.
