Lovely, clean and superbly organized guesthouse. The best hosts you can imagine. So kind and friendly, always giving us the best advice on where to go and what to do. Our 10 year old loved staying here too. If Loas Nest is available on your dates, dont hesitate, just go ahead and book it. We would go back in a heartbeat and we hope to see Unnar and his wife again either in Iceland or in Norway.

Hateigi 2 is a great location to explore the Southern area. Veronique is really friendly and helpful. The accommodation is modern, comfortable, and well equipped. Very good value for money. Ideal for family stay. Reykjavik is about 90 min drive, and similar to Vik going the other way. All Golden Circle attractions in reach also.

Veronique is a very very nice Host and did EVERYTHING to make sure our trip was worth it! This included receiving our lost luggage from the airline before we arrived in the accomodation. The Family Room we rented was very big, very clean and very nice. The kitchen was fully equiped, even with a dishwasher! The Hosts sell food and drinks if you need something (cheese, etc). Veronique even left us a nice note in our language (german) on the door. We loved this accomodation.

Room was perfectly tidy and clean. Beds were super comfy and I really liked the fact that the room had a perfect view of the outdoor space . Windows were everywhere, and the scenery was amazing during all day. A very good possibility to see northern lights as well over there. As there was only one hotel around and the rest of the area was surrounded by fields and a lake. The owners were also very friendly and helpful. They offered as biscuits in our room, tea, coffee, chocolates. They gave us directions and advises of where is best to go.
