The hosts were so welcoming and friendly and attentive. They couldn't do enough to make you feel at home and taken care of. The location is great, the room was clean and comfortable. It's also reasonably priced.

The accommodation is tastefully decorated and well finished. All the furnishings and fittings are high quality. There was attention to detail in its construction. The apartment is cosy and feels like you could be anywhere in the world. The grounds are well kept, and the location is peaceful. The staff were helpful and professional.

Amazing value for the cost especially thanks to the very nice hosts Heru&Andy - they organised everything we needed even when asked quite last minute, including a great guided tour. The room was also very nice and comfortable with beautiful views of the rice fields, the food was excellent... overall a perfect short stay in Tetebatu.

The stay in Tetebatu was my first ever experience of Indonesia and, wow! - was I absolutely smitten with its simplicity and beauty. The price of accommodation is so minuscle that it only makes sense to support homestay owners by joining on their local tours. After all, they offer not just their time, but their valuable local experience. Walk with them the rice fields, see and hear about the agriculture, jump into the cave waterfalls, watch the local ladies weave sarongs and make clay pottery, drive to the local market and ask your hosts to explain the local foods. If you are not the hike-or-die type, ask your hosts to bring you up to the foothills of Rinjani - and breathe in silence... I've seen and felt in a week more than I would do in two months back home. Also, very important!, as a solo female traveller I felt very safe with my hosts. I felt protected, respected and genuinely understood.

I had an amazing stay at this Cottages! The place was clean, cozy, and had a great atmosphere. If you have the chance to visit this place then you should defenitely stay a couple of days here. The view on the ricefields and mount Rinjani are breathtaking. The cottages are new and very clean. Maybe the best thing about this place is the people and unique atmosphere. Almost every night the family that runs the place is making a bonfire where we played music and had some good conversations. The host also took us to some more hidden waterfalls in the jungle and to the racefiets close by. We also did a tour to a the monkey forrest in Tetebatu and a nearby village to experience the local sarong weavery and bamboo crafts. We didn't have a scooter so the place was a bit more remote from everything in Tetebatu and warungs. But this was not an issue as we could order food and they would cook it for us. And for the tours they took us with them on their scooter.

I really liked the location and the beautiful homestay! Armand is a great host, highly recommend a walking tour with him to experience the local life and the beautiful rice terraces around Tetebatu. The meals that they are offering are excellent especially the urap urap! The breakfast is also amazing!

We had the most amazing time at Opik Homestay! We were welcomed like we were family by Opik and his mother. Upon arriving we didn’t know what we were going to do. Opik arranged two beautiful days for us (guided walking tour through the surrounding villages with rice fields, monkey forest, spices and waterfalls and also a great hike with Opik). And then the food… 😍🤤 we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner with Opik and it was the best Indonesian food we had in Indonesia. We could taste the love and warmth. By the way, the room was big, clean and had a very nice view. Don’t think twice, just book a night (but we recommend two or more).
