As many people point out, guest house staff (actually, she is the daughter of the family running the facility) is really helpful and supportive, particularly for the transport arrangement. They provided good taxi driver to Vardzia (GEL80) and checked bus info to Gyumuri until the very last moment. Breakfast, GEL 10 was sufficient and tasty, though not gorgeous American buffet. WIFI works quite well.

I loved my time at Kantora 19! The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The food at the restaurant was delicious, especially the fresh and tasty breakfast. The staff were so friendly and helpful, always making sure I had everything I needed and giving great tips for places to visit. The hotel’s location was perfect — close to everything but still nice and quiet. I highly recommend Kantora 19 for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I would love to come back!

The family were the nicest people I have met in all of Georgia. I felt very welcome and was offered cake and tea or coffee in the morning and the evening. Really lovely people. I really want to thank them for their hospitality. Also the Location of the Guest House is perfect and I had a beautiful view of the castle from my window. The room with a double bed was big with very modern, new furniture. Also the bed was very comfortable. I definitely would stay here again.

Everything was perfect! Location - 5 minutes walk to the Rabat fortress. The host lady is amazingly welcoming (unfortunately I didn't ask her name). The room was neat and cozy. Comfy bed. Enough space. Quiet neighbourhood. One of the best accomodation I've been to!

When l got there I didn't want to stay because it was bit out of way from the city of Akhaltsikhe. But I begin to discover true nature of small town atmosphere. I found how wonderful people are. They grow their own vegetable they eat and can feel remarkable serenity of surrounding nature. Host,Ivery hardly spoke English but managed to give me a ride to Separa monastery. The view up there was simply spectacular. The view from balcony upstairs where guests are staying are simply spectacular. Inside of the guests lodging were super clean and everything worked.

This is a great little hotel in an ideal location - right across from the castle. I arrived early and the owner upgraded me to a better room for free. Breakfast was excellent and the owners are so nice. Bonus - they have the most affectionate little cat.
