I arrived in Portsmouth by ferry from Guernsey and was catching an early coach in the morning so just stayed one night although it was my third stay with Acapulco Rooms. During the afternoon before check in the access code to the entry door was texted to me with details of my room and other relevant information. The location was perfect, near shops and restaurants and although I wasn't here for the beach it's not far. The room is small but comfortable and with an en suite bathroom. The bed was comfortable, bedding and towels clean and fresh. The Internet connection has vastly improved since my last stay and I have no negatives. My room was on the side of the building but I didn't hear any road noise at night and slept well. You get what you pay for.
