We received a warm welcome from Maz and Simon and we were allocated a garden freestanding free standing room with ensuite. Everything was clean and spacious. Breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked. Highly recommend.

We are from the US but have longed to visit Polperro for years. We got a chance to visit the UK, was gifted lodgings in a different city, but when this booking popped up, decided the side trip was worth it. Kathryn was great. We got in a little early but when we called her she came down to check us in. She had a wonderful little continental breakfast already prepared in our room with bread, cereals, and other goodies. Very quaint, warm welcoming front room and the bedroom was very comfortable. Very quiet.

Very warm greeting on arrival and allowed to go to my room despite being more than an hour early. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Didn't eat there this time but the food looked wonderful. Comfortable and clean room, plenty of tea and coffee. Good atmosphere in the bar and very well looked after by the staff.

Richard is a true gentleman and a top level host! He picked us up from Bodmin station and after a small tour around the town he welcomed us to his home. The house was very clean and cozy, the room was spacious and with all the amenities needed + some souvenirs for his guests! We highly recommend staying at his house, you won’t regret it.
