Maria let me use the accomodation at 02:45 in the morning! I had issed my ferry from Holland of 17:05, and the next one went at 01:35 (UTC+1). They saved my day, because I could get some much needed sleep in a nice and cosy room.

We both had the full English breakfast. The host was wonderful and made a great breakfast in a nice, cozy dining room. The coffee was served in a french press which was a great surprise for Americans traveling in England.

The room itself was spotless, smelled good, nicely decorated and very spacious. It felt very classy. The neighborhood was very quiet in the evenings. John, the host, was kind, welcoming and super helpful in recommending places to see, how to easily get there and places to eat. He was also very knowledgeable about the history of the area. I recommend staying two nights if you have time!

The bohemian, gentleman's club vibe was perfect. Extremely well appointed, kitchen and bathroom.

The hosts were very helpful. Gave us tourists tips. They even moved their car to give us a great parking space. The meal cooked at their pub was a very big serve and tasted great.

Very friendly host, shown us how to access the town, perfect spot to park in driveway, room was cosy and knew it would be a good sleep when we got back, nice little additions like shower gels and soaps. Very pleasant stay will be back again if in the area. Thanks

Michael made us feel welcome from the moment we rang the bell on this lovely and charming Guest House. Great location if you travel by train, just 3 mins walk from Folkestone Central. Quiet, despite the fact that we had a room on the ground floor. Room was very spacious and spotless clean!!! The garden in the property is definitely a plus! We would definitely stay again next time we are around the area.
