From the moment we walked through the door to the minute we left we had excellent service. The staff is both friendly and helpful. I have to give special mention to Diane. She made us feel like house guests, not like paying customers. She is a gem, and such a hard worker. Breakfast was quick and delicious, and covered anything we would like. Our room was lovely, and oh-so-comfy. Plenty of parking and a central location helped to make it perfect. We loved Castleton, and would return to the Bull's Head in a heartbeat. Can't wait!

Well run pub with nicely decorated rooms. Comfortable bed. Very friendly staff and manager. Proper pub food in a nice restaurant room and local busy bar next to it. Very good atmosphere overall.
